About the role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Data team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing data, providing actionable insights to improve operational performance and supporting data-driven decision-making.

What you’ll do:

• Data Analytics and Insight Generation: Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities. Deliver insights that support strategic initiatives and performance improvement across business functions.
• Reporting and Dashboard Development: Build and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reports using modern BI tools. Ensure reports are scalable, reliable, and aligned with stakeholder needs.
• Data Modeling and Database Knowledge: Leverage your understanding of database design, data modeling principles, and SQL to structure data effectively and support analytical tasks.
• Process Optimization and Automation: Identify manual processes and propose data-driven automation solutions to improve speed, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
• Forecasting and Resource Planning: Analyze historical performance data to support workforce and capacity planning efforts across different departments.
• ETL Process Design and Optimization: Collaborate with data engineers or independently design efficient ETL processes to ensure clean, timely, and reliable data flow across systems.
• Ad Hoc Analysis and Decision Support: Perform on-demand analysis to support urgent business questions or evolving needs. Translate raw data into actionable insights that guide tactical and strategic decisions.
• Stakeholder Collaboration and Requirement Gathering: Work with diverse business teams to understand analytical needs, translate them into technical requirements, and deliver actionable solutions.
• Project Leadership: Lead BI projects from conception to completion. Manage timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations while ensuring technical excellence.
• Data Quality and Integration Support: Monitor data integrity across systems. Contribute to the improvement of data pipelines and ensure consistency across internal tools and platforms.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Partner with cross-departmental stakeholders to align analytical outputs with business objectives, and ensure adoption of insights in everyday decision-making.
• Continuous Learning and Data Innovation: Stay current with trends in data analytics, tooling, and best practices. Contribute to fostering a modern, data-driven culture across the organization.

This role is perfect for you if you have: 

Required:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Economics, or a related field
• Experience: Proven experience (3-5 years) in data analytics, process-oriented or a similar role
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau), with working knowledge of data modeling and ETL processes.
• Operational Acumen: Strong understanding of key operational KPIs, process optimization, and performance forecasting methodologies
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into clear, actionable insights that support operational performance and business growth
• Business Acumen: Solid understanding of operational strategies, market trends, and how data can be leveraged to optimise outcomes
• Customer centricity: Ability to analyse data to improve customer satisfaction and create seamless customer experience
• Collaboration & Communication: Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to effectively communicate data insights to non-technical audiences and leadership team.

Preferred:

• Project management experience, particularly in managing data-related operational initiatives
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Python/R)
• Familiarity with machine learning algorithms and their application in operations analytics
