As a Senior Credit Strategy Manager, you’ll harness advanced analytics and deep industry expertise to manage and enhance affiliate credit strategies focused on personal loans. You will play a pivotal role in driving portfolio growth while safeguarding credit quality, optimizing both revenue and risk. By leveraging your data acumen and business insight, you’ll guide critical decisions that shape the strategic direction and long-term success of our lending products. Your influence will be felt across teams as you champion data-driven proposals and innovative solutions.
About the role
Oversee the development and real-time execution of credit strategies for affiliate partners, ensuring that personal loan offerings remain competitive, sustainable, and tightly aligned with company objectives
Develop and implement rigorous credit and fraud risk assessment methodologies and tools, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and best practices in the credit industry
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deeply analyze data and translate insights into actionable, high-impact credit-based proposals
Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets using advanced data tools such as SQL or Python to inform strategy and optimize portfolio performance
Build compelling data visualizations and clearly communicate key messages distilled from complex and voluminous data
Assess the impact of credit strategies on affiliate performance, present key findings and actionable recommendations to stakeholders at all levels—including senior management—to support strategic decision-making
Mentor junior analysts, providing thought leadership, guidance, and support to elevate team capabilities and drive continuous improvement
About you
Minimum qualifications
5+ years of credit experience, including managing credit strategy with a focus on personal loans or related lending products
Master’s degree in business, statistics, STEM, economics, or a related field
Expert user of data extraction, manipulation, and analysis tools, including SQL or Python
Strong hands-on data analysis and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to develop and present business proposals that enhance originations and optimize portfolio performance
Proven capacity to analyze complex financial data, make sound credit decisions, and recommend risk mitigation strategies
Strong decision-making abilities underpinned by robust analytical thinking
Preferred qualifications
Experience managing credit strategies for affiliate partners
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
Prior experience managing and mentoring junior analysts

Colorado, New York City, Jersey City, California, D.C and Washington Candidates only: the salary range for this position is eighty-four thousand dollars to one hundred eighty-nine thousand five hundred dollars. The position may also be eligible for an annual bonus and other employment-related benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401K retirement plan, and paid-time off.
