Reporting to the Regulatory Reporting Data Enablement Manager, the Regulatory Reporting Data Controls Analyst will be a key member of the Regulatory Reporting team. This person will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining regulatory reporting control processes. They will collaborate with the regulatory reporting team to develop and implement changes in the most effective and efficient manner.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Collaborate with various business and technical teams to develop control solutions for regulatory reporting
  • Coordinate, develop, and test deployment of new functions and features in an agile environment
  • Develop and maintain data rules logic
  • Perform regression testing and initial user acceptance testing
  • Maintain procedures and system configuration documentation
  • Educate team members on system functionality, configuration, and design
  • Occasionally work outside of normal business hours

Required Qualifications/Competencies:

  • 2-5 years of experience in computer programming, systems architecture, or information technology
  • Experience with multiple ETL technologies (e.g., Python, XML, Rest API, SAAS)
  • Proficiency in analytical/reporting tools (SQL, SAS EG, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience in software design & development, and in supporting, troubleshooting, and resolving both user and system-related issues with financial system reporting environments (e.g., AxiomSL, Oracle, data warehouses, etc.)
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and requirements
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Action-oriented; drive continuous improvement in an agile environment
  • Organized self-starter with the ability to work independently and think creatively in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail, including follow-up and/or escalation of issues when necessary
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Takes initiative to challenge current processes and implement change
  • Ability to understand and interpret client requests/needs, respond to questions with clear and effective answers, and give cohesive presentations
  • Proven team player, willing to assist others as needed to ensure that group deadlines are met and quality standards are achieved
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills:

  • AxiomSL ControllerView configuration and implementation experience, including creation of data sources, data models, shorthands, portfolios, aggregations, reports, and workflows
  • Experience working with data warehousing in banking or financial services industry
  • Familiarity with bank regulatory reports such as FFIEC 031, FRY9C, FR2052a, FDIC 370, etc.
  • Working knowledge of databases and transformation of data
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Jira

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $103,000 to $113,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
