This is a summer full-time internship position at Altera in the Quality Reliability Engineering department, based at company headquarters in San Jose, CA. In this role, the intern will work with FPGA Product Quality Engineers working on analytics and dashboarding of data from key engineering and business processes, in support of process and data migration to Quality Management Systems tools for the long-term. The intern will learn about FPGA Product Quality and Reliability fundamentals, supporting the broader team with analysis and development of data models and dashboards to drive key decisions.

Salary Range

The pay range below is for Bay Area California only. Actual salary may vary based on a number of factors including job location, job-related knowledge, skills, experiences, trainings, etc. We also offer incentive opportunities that reward employees based on individual and company performance.

Qualifications:

Candidates should have the following:

• Enrolled in a university/college degree program majoring in Computer Science/Engineering, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or similar

• Programming experience with C, JAVA, PERL, Python or other similar programming language

• Experience with data analysis/dashboarding tools like Excel, PowerBI, PowerAutomate, or similar.

• Able to work on-site in-person at Altera San Jose site office.
