At Incorta, we are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer in Test to join our dynamic team. As a Software Engineer in Test, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. You will collaborate closely with developers, architects, and product managers to deliver high-quality software solutions and sometimes act as a developer. If you are passionate about testing and development, have a strong technical background, strong engineering principles, and methodical problem-solving skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this role is perfect for you.

YOU WILL

  • Develop test automation and execute test plans to validate software functionality against requirements and specifications.
  • Conduct performance measurement and analysis
  • Partner with the development team to review specifications and offer feedback from an engineering standpoint or based on testing results.
  • Develop and implement solutions to address issues identified during testing and performance evaluations.
  • Troubleshoot issues and bugs discovered in testing, staging, and production to determine the root cause.
  • Take initiative to recommend new approaches and processes that will improve our quality, productivity, and velocity.
  • Create and refine deployment processes, deployment scripts, and build pipelines.
  • Ensure that pipeline failures are triaged, addressed, and communicated in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated with the latest testing tools, techniques, and methodologies.
  • Establish an enterprise-wide test automation framework, standard toolsets, and overall test procedures to maximize performance.
  • Develop tests to measure throughput and latency.

YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.+3 years of experience as a Software Engineer in a Test, Development, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java or Python.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, web technologies, and databases.
  •  Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as JMeter, JUnit, or JenkinsGood knowledge of Cloud Testing & Technologies knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Experience working with popular operating systems, including macOS and Linux.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Continuous learning mindset and a passion for staying updated with industry trends.
