Job Description

We’re looking for a QA Automation Engineer with strong experience in Databricks and a solid background in automation testing to join our growing QA team. This role is a hybrid between QA, data analytics, and database optimization. If you're passionate about data, automation, and working with cutting-edge tools in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated tests using Python and Selenium

• Perform data analysis and ensure the integrity of data pipelines and models

• Work extensively with Databricks, contributing to data model validation and optimization

• Collaborate with consultants and development teams to help design and validate data models

• Optimize query performance in a Databricks environment

• Contribute to the automation of database testing, with a focus on analytics rather than traditional DBA tasks

• Work closely with stakeholders to support testing around Appian workflows, with awareness that Appian knowledge is a plus but not mandatory

• Support QA initiatives focused on performance, scalability, and reliability of data-driven applications

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• 5–6 years of relevant experience in QA, with a strong focus on Databricks

• Proficiency in Python and Selenium for test automation

• Solid understanding of data analytics and query optimization

• Experience working in QA or engineering teams focused on data models and database tools

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high delivery demands

Nice to Have:

• Background in database consulting or data architecture

What You Are Not:
This is not a traditional DBA role. We’re looking for someone who combines data expertise with automation testing, not just someone who manages database
