Job Duties:  Work on various machine learning challenges to build systems and machine learning models to improve the experience for both Pinners and creators on Pinterest at scale. Apply the latest advances in deep learning and machine learning to personalize Pinterest users’ experience. Develop new features to improve Pinterest’s user and pin understanding in models. Impact 450M+ monthly active users by developing the next generation of discovery technologies. Work in a fast-paced machine learning environment with quick experimentation and product launches. Telecommuting is permitted.

 

Minimum Requirements: PhD, or foreign equivalent, in Machine Learning, Operations Research or closely related quantitative discipline, OR Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Machine Learning, Operations Research, or closely related quantitative discipline, and three (3) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in related field.

Special Skill Requirements: (1) Deep Learning; (2) Machine Learning; (3) Data Science; (4) Probability and statistics; (5) PyTorch; (6) Algorithms; (7) Experiment Design; (8) Data Visualization; (9) Recommendation Systems; (10) Python; and (11) Data Analysis. Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is permitted.

 

Salary: $189,829.00 - $267,272.00 per annum.
