Job Description:
Our Enterprise Data team provides Talkdesk with accurate & accessible data, decision support models & analyses, enablement training & services, as well as facilitation for all analytics endeavors across the company. Data Analyst Role will work alongside the business team and be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and interpreting data to identify trends and patterns. In this role, you will need to use your knowledge of data pipeline orchestration, standard methodologies for data warehouse performance, data migration strategies, and analytics architecture to function collaboratively within a team environment. We are looking for someone who will apply software engineering standard methodologies to analytics code via the utilization of version control, testing and validation processes, and continuous integration.
Responsibilities:
- Data Analytics: Create Tableau dashboards to support analytical business needs.
- Facilitate Data Operations: Monitor data quality dashboards for data discrepancies and work with respective teams to resolve data issues.
- Data Modeling: Write sql, create views and data models in Snowflake to support data analytics.
- Ad Hoc Reporting: Respond to ad hoc reporting requests from cross-functional teams for custom insights and analysis in a timely manner.
- Data Management: Participate in the Data Governance committee (led by IT) to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data used in reporting as well as ensuring consistency across departments and systems.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of progressive experience in data analysis, reporting.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in SQL, Snowflake, Tableau Strong knowledge of Excel and data visualization tools.
- Data analysis: Strong understanding of data analysis principles and techniques.
- Data visualization: Ability to create compelling and informative visualizations.
- SQL: Expert level knowledge with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Problem-solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find solutions.
Communication: Good verbal and written communication
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
Primarily office-environment work, extended periods of sitting or standing, computer-based work. Limited lifting, and equipment usage limited to computer-related equipment (keyboards, mouse, etc.)
