At Ocado Technology, we craft products tailored to meet the unique needs of our partners worldwide. From e-commerce software and automated warehouse solutions to robotics and optimized delivery, we're reshaping the online grocery space and beyond through innovation.

In Poland, we are a local team of technologists with a global scale. In the hearts of Wrocław and Kraków, we have gathered over 700 tech wizards - and let them do their magic.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a commercially minded and analytically strong Data Analyst to join our growing data team in Poland. You’ll play a key role in driving data-informed decisions across the organisation by delivering insights, building robust analyses, and helping teams experiment effectively.
Working closely with teams across product, engineering and UX you’ll help shape strategy, measure impact and uncover opportunities. This is an ideal role for someone who combines strong technical skills with business curiosity and a consulting-style mindset.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform analysis to uncover trends, behaviours and opportunities that drive performance across the business.
  • Design, run, and interpret experiments (e.g. A/B tests) to evaluate product features, campaigns or process changes.
  • Define and track core metrics and KPIs, providing clear recommendations based on data.
  • Build intuitive dashboards and self-serve tools using BI platforms (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Work with stakeholders to understand their goals, translating them into analytical problems and delivering actionable insights.
  • Ensure high data quality by contributing to validation, cleaning and transformation processes.
  • Collaborate with analytics and data engineering teams to improve data accessibility and reliability.

Key skills and experience:

ESSENTIAL

  • Experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role.
  • Strong SQL and Python skills and experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g. BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
  • Proven ability to design and analyse experiments, with a good grasp of statistical significance, test design and causal reasoning.
  • Proficiency in data visualisation and reporting tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong communication skills — able to distil complex data into clear narratives for different audiences.
  • Comfortable managing multiple requests, prioritising effectively, and working in a fast-paced environment.

DESIRABLE

  • Experience in a consulting, advisory or cross-functional stakeholder-facing role.
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity and framing data work around business impact.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills — able to challenge constructively, influence priorities, and drive alignment.
  • Prior exposure to logistics and fulfilment industry domains.

BENEFITS: WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

Work and life should fit together, so we offer a range of benefits focusing on well-being, development, and team spirit. The final package will depend on the contract type we agree on.

  • Standard benefits: life insurance, private health care [Luxmed], Multisport card, lunch vouchers, company share programs, and assistance for everyday worries and serious health problems.
