POSITION SUMMARY:
Join Nestlé USA as an Enterprise Analytics Expert Data Scientist and be at the forefront of innovation! In this role, you will combine business insights with cutting-edge data science, driving impactful analytics initiatives across our organization. As an advanced analytics expert, you will collaborate closely with various business functions to identify opportunities and create robust use cases. You will design, enhance, and implement sophisticated predictive algorithms that not only foster profitable growth but also enable insightful diagnostic evaluations, strategic predictive planning, and informed prescriptive decision-making. Together, we will transform everyday challenges into data-driven solutions that propel our enterprise forward.
- Lead the development, evaluation, and deployment of models to enhance operational decision-making in commercial analytics, including sales, marketing, and eCommerce.
- Implement machine learning predictive models as well as causal inference regression models across diverse business use cases, integrating the latest data science advancements into Nestlé USA’s solutions.
- Experience with complex, enterprise cloud computing environments and managing automating jobs, creating resources, deploying packages, and navigating security protocols in cloud computing environments.
- Deeply understand business challenges and translate them into mathematical models with actionable results that drive business value.
- Serve as an internal consultant, collaborating with business functions to identify opportunities, define problems, conduct data analysis, and create self-service solutions with minimal oversight.
- Analyze results, draw conclusions, and present findings with actionable recommendations to cross-functional teams and leadership.
- Mentor junior staff, guide predictive model development, define customer usage of models, and train users on integration.
- Lead the execution of AI and next-generation solutions, facilitating rapid piloting to meet business needs.
- Proficient in object-oriented programming in Python, including classes, objects, and inheritance for modular code. Experienced in deploying, monitoring, and maintaining machine learning solutions in a production environment.
- Engage in the evaluation, design, and integration strategy across multiple commercial functions and data sources for various Nestlé businesses.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Business or a similar field from an accredited college or university
- 5+ years of hands on data science experience developing and deploying machine learning models and algorithms to address business priorities
- 3+ years of experience developing with Python/PySpark to automate tasks, manipulate data, and build production-level data science solutions
- 3+ years of experience managing stakeholders, maintaining relationships, presenting to senior executives, and communicating high-level technical concepts in clear, colloquial, action-oriented language
- 2+ years of experience working in MLOPs and cloud computing environments with familiarity of best practices for deploying, monitoring, and maintaining solutions
- 2+ years of experience mentoring/ coaching junior peers and teammates
The approximate pay range for this position is $170,000.00 to $205,000.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location. Nestlé offers performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401k with company match, healthcare coverage and a broad range of other benefits.
