Responsibilities

• Building, improving and maintaining ETL pipelines
• Building and managing incoming data integrations, i.e. through APIs, external databases and other methods
• Managing and enhancing the database architecture (Postgresql) and facilitating multi tenancy
• Building and managing outgoing data integrations, primarily through APIs, with systems like marketing channels and communication platforms
• Enhancing data enrichment, cleaning, standardisation, normalisation and rich transformation throughout all connections and pipelines
• Building and managing a setup for testing and monitoring of all connections
• Working closely with data analysts/scientists to build and deploy AI/ML models
• Working closely with data integration specialists to build connections and pipelines according to  guidelines and related clients’ data definitions
• Working closely with the frontend developer and backend developer to present insights and figures in the client portal
• Working in sprints (scrum) including frequent deployments
• Discussing existing roadmap and backlog items, but also bringing own additions and ideas to continuously improve the product

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in data engineering and/or Python development
• Proven knowledge in Python and SQL (Postgresql is a plus)
• Experience or proven affinity with Python frameworks (such as Django)
• Able to think in database structures and the corresponding architecture
• Able to work in a fast paced environment, scrum is a plus
• Affinity with the sports and entertainment industries is a plus
