We are committed to delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to our customers. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented Enterprise Data Architect to join our collaborative and bold Architecture team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement Data Strategy: Align and plan the execution of Officeworks' Enterprise Data Strategy and roadmap.
• Define Data Architecture: Design a scalable enterprise-wide data model, ensuring data accuracy, accessibility, and security.
• Drive Data Standards: Establish and guide Enterprise Data Standards, policies, and deliver a modern data construct.

Scope Dimensions:

• Translate Business Strategy: Understand business drivers and execute and facilitate the delivery of an architectural blueprint.
• Lead Data Architecture: Design and establish Data Architecture Practices, Models, and Standards.
• Collaborate for Business Outcomes: Work with Enterprise Architects and the Integration Architect to modernize data integrations, unify data access, and consolidate data platforms.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with a strong appreciation of retail. Qualifications in EA frameworks, preferably TOGAF, along with supporting certifications in any data frameworks.

Proven experience in enterprise data architecture, systems architecture, integrations, data warehousing, and any modern product data product is preferable.

An inspiring communicator and collaborator, you have a natural ability to consult on a broad range of technologies and platforms. You will leverage your expertise in developing architecture blueprints, strategies, and roadmaps, delivering presentations to senior-level executives and technical audiences.

With established IT experience primarily in data, with at least 12 years experience in the architecture domain, you have a proven ability to solve business problems with sound analytical skills, experience in conducting research and development for business objectives. You are comfortable presenting solution proposals to various groups, including business functions and technology teams.

Proficiency in LeanIX, Signavio, Confluence, Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with collaboration software like Microsoft Teams and Atlassian is sought.
