Job Description

U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Data Analytics in Irving, Texas.  

Essential Responsibilities:

The Data Analytics position will be responsible for providing reporting and analytics support for the enterprise-wide Servicing and Move Platform team within the Digital Organization. The team provides reporting analytics for digital platforms, including Authentication & Identity, Digital Experience, Money Hub, and Connected Banking. This position plays a crucial role in

driving data-informed decision-making to ensure that the platforms can deliver a best-in-class experience for U.S. Bank employees and customers. The Data Analytics position will develop reports that help measure the efficacy of the authentication system to improve customer security and fraud mitigation, develop Tableau dashboard for tracking customer login experience

for all U.S. Bank websites and applications, develop dashboards for tracking onboarding, integration and support experience of third-party U.S. Bank API customers, extract and transform API logs data for U.S. Bank Connected Banking APIs to track and ensure that third-party contract agreements for SLAs are being met, develop a robust analytics dashboard that allows the

Shield Interfaces platform owner to measure the adoption and utilization of user interface components across all the U.S. Bank applications, and will create a framework for measuring the reusability of shield components. Additional responsibilities include the following: extracting and transforming data from diverse sources using Python and PostgreSQL to create a data mart; developing and presenting multiple Tableau dashboards to CDO leadership, enabling them to track performance, revenue, growth, channel adoption, customer acquisition, and retention; employing web scraping techniques and advanced quantitative analysis to create a reusability framework for tracking Tagged Adobe Shield Components; providing insights into cost savings, performance, adoption, and reusability for the Digital Experience platform; processing and aggregating API log data and Service Now data using SAS and Hadoop to monitor onboarding, integration, and support for U.S. Bank API customers; designing and maintaining a criteria decision-making tree algorithm to calculate customer security ratings based on security feature opt-ins and weightage assignments; delivering monthly prioritization and business review reports for digital platforms, offering stakeholders actionable insights, key performance metrics, and data-driven recommendations to inform strategic business decisions; and working with Digital Product owners to gather requirements for developing platform-level roadmaps, understanding roadblocks, and escalating initiatives to drive progress. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Multiple positions.

Basic Qualifications:

Requires a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or Analytics plus 3 years of experience as a Data Analytics, Data Analyst, or related. Will accept a Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science or Analytics or a related field plus 5 years of experience as a Data Analytics, Data Analyst, or related in lieu of a Master’s degree plus 3

years of experience. 

Required Skills/Experience:
Must possess 3 years of experience with Master’s or 5 years of experience with Bachelor’s with each of the following: working on data analytics projects serving as a liaison between the data management teams, technology teams, and business stakeholders to address data gaps and enhance the data engineering process; developing and maintaining complex analytics dashboards using Tableau to support enterprise-wide digital platforms; creating data-driven insights to inform strategic business decisions; project management and organization in collaborating with product owners to define platform roadmaps, identifying roadblocks, and prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously to drive business outcomes; building and maintaining collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams; onboarding and mentoring peer analysts; Agile framework; utilizing Splunk for critical business and web analytics; loading (ETL) processes; web scraping; algorithm development; extracting and transforming data from the following diverse sources using Python and PostgreSQL: Adobe Clickstream, Splunk, Service Now, Figma, Zeroheight, Adobe Clickstream, GitLab, and API logs; utilizing Python and SQL to create data marts and analyzing large datasets to inform business decisions, data aggregation, processing, and visualization; Agile project management using Confluence and JIRA for project planning, issue tracking, and reporting; utilizing Unix commands for big data processing and loading; utilizing Gitlab for version control and tracking changes to data analysis scripts, models, and queries; utilizing the following analytics visualization tools to develop and maintain executive-level dashboards tracking key metrics on customer experience, performance, revenue, and growth: Power BI, Tableau, and Excel; utilizing the following tools/technologies: SQL; Python; SAS; R; ServiceNow; Unix; Adobe Clickstream; Splunk; GitLab; Confluence; and JIRA. Position may allow working from home within commuting distance of worksite location. Base pay range may vary if an offer is made for work in a different location. Pay Range: $140,109- $176,100.
