Manager - Senior Manager Data Analytics - Global Internal Audit
About the Role:
At Boston Scientific, the Manager/Sr. Manager of Data Analytics will be responsible for developing and maintaining solutions for a variety of complex and highly value-added processes and analyses within Global Internal Audit (GIA). This position leads a team of three analysts responsible for planning, organizing, and executing analytics related to internal audits throughout the Company (including IT, financial, operational, compliance, consulting, and fraud analytics). In addition, this position is responsible for continued development of our Continuous Monitoring capabilities within GIA. This is a highly visible position and interfaces across the Finance and IT functions.
Your Responsibilities Include:

Provide key analytic solutions to GIA management and the audit team(s) to help inform and develop their field strategies.

Lead and develop a team, ensuring their success through valuable assignments, coaching, and training.

Lead by example with direct report(s) in objective setting/development plans, regular communication, feedback, development activities and appropriate rewards/recognition.

Implement innovative internal processes and/or drive continuous improvements around reporting, communication, monitoring, testing and/or analysis. In addition, provide analytics to the audit team(s) for use during planning, execution and reporting to optimize coverage and effectiveness.

Help manage SAP HANA infrastructure and drive harmonization of S4 in partnership with IT.

Maintain an existing technology pipeline, consisting of eHANA DB, Alteryx queries, Tableau dashboards, and Excel outputs. Manage and adapt to upstream changes in that pipeline as they occur (e.g., S4 replacing ECC in eHANA).

Develop solutions to complex problems of diverse scope and complexity where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Exercise judgment within defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Have a broad knowledge of a variety of alternatives and their impact on various business units.

Execute Continuous Monitoring components of GIA annual audit plan, developing new requests based on risk/return and incorporating emerging topics as requested.

Provide technical support to Controllership for legacy projects, as needed.

Work cross-functionally with Finance and IT, as well as the divisions, to ensure effective workflow throughout the account activation process (for analytic tools like Tableau).

Evaluate new technologies for potential implementation and use.

Support GIA management team in developing audit planning inputs based on key business trends and risk ratings.

Advise the audit teams by providing risk-based analysis, including modeling and management of all related audit data.

Design data visualizations (reports and dashboards) as required to support requests from our users, ensuring they can leverage their day-to-day work.

Assess new requests from business partners for value and return, ranking project priority.

Develop Tableau-based ad-hoc user interface(s) for end users.

Perform detailed data analysis (i.e., determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples).

Define, execute, and interpret complex/nested SQL/Alteryx queries.

Support activities to document, evolve, and communicate with artifacts developed using Tableau.

Understand an integrated view of controls over business processes, including financial, operational and IT general controls.
What We're Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
- 7-10 years of progressive experience, preferably in a large and multinational company
- Experience with Tableau Server; experience developing reports & dashboards using Tableau
- Experience developing Alteryx workflows and experience with Alteryx Server
- Experience with HANA Studio
- Willingness to travel a few times a year to BSC sites or appropriate conferences
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Information Systems, Accounting, Computer Science, or related degree preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (MBA or other Master’s degree in a discipline related to the role)

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) – see www.bscbenefitsconnect.com--will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.
Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
