Your Responsibilities

 

As an Analytics Data Engineer III for John Deere in Moline, IL, you will:

 

  • Play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining data
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, build pipelines, and optimize workflows to support our business objectives
  • Your expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing will be essential in ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems
  • The position will be specifically focused on Deere precision equipment and technology
  • 10% domestic and international travel required. This is a 100% remote position. Can live anywhere in the U.S.

 

What Skills You Need

 

  • 4 years of experience in support business intelligence needs through data creation and ongoing availability experience using a modern language such as Python or Scala, data visualization tools and storytelling (Tableau or Power BI) and advanced SQL
  • 3 years of experience in develop and maintain data models for efficient storage and retrieval of information using a modern language such as Python or Scala
  • 3 years of experience in leading and providing work direction to individual(s), large project(s), or teams
  • 4 years of experience in implement data quality and governance best practices to ensure data integrity using data cleansing, data validation, and data analysis

 

Education/Experience

 

  • 5 years of related work experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field plus 4 years of related work experience
