We are looking for a versatile and detail-oriented Content Writer with 3 years of experience to create high-impact content tailored for a technology-focused organization. The ideal candidate should be skilled at simplifying complex information, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and producing clear, engaging content for both technical and non-technical audiences. Here's how you'll contribute: You'll do this by:
- Develop and edit a wide range of content including internal communication (emailers, newsletters, blurbs), SharePoint site content, product descriptions, process descriptions and application feature explainers.
- Collaborate with product owners, SMEs, UX teams, and other stakeholders to understand content requirements and transform them into user-friendly deliverables.
- Simplify technical or process-heavy content for diverse audiences including business users, technical teams, and clients.
- Review and format content for consistency in tone, clarity, grammar, and visual alignment with brand and communication guidelines.
- Support data mapping and information structuring efforts by identifying key messages and presenting data in clear, meaningful, and summarized formats (e.g., dashboards, quick facts, comparison tables, feature highlights).
- Conduct self-reviews and peer reviews to maintain content quality and accuracy.
- Manage content drafts and feedback cycles across teams, ensuring timely updates and delivery.
- Apply AI tools and prompts where appropriate to enhance productivity and content ideation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adjust tone and complexity based on the audience.
- Experience in writing for technology solutions, products, or applications (hands-on exposure in tech domains is a plus).
- Good understanding of internal communication channels, especially SharePoint and email campaigns.
- Ability to grasp new tools and processes quickly and translate them into concise, easy-to-understand content.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with SharePoint content editing is a plus.
- Basic understanding of AI prompting and ability to use AI tools to enhance content.
- Detail-oriented with strong skills in editing, formatting, and organizing content logically.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Mass Communication, Journalism, Technical Writing, or related field.
- 3 years of content writing experience, ideally in a technology or enterprise environment.
- Portfolio or writing samples demonstrating experience with business or product-related content is preferred.
