Role Overview 🔎

Orbital Witness and Orbital Residential help Real Estate professionals accelerate their due diligence and improve their understanding of any legal risks, so that their clients can buy and sell property as confidently and quickly as possible. These products have great product-market fit and are used by thousands of property and legal professionals every week.

We are looking for a passionate Product Designer to help take these two products to the next level with innovative new features leveraging AI, and a focus on simple, intuitive design and usability. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Product Designer to join a exciting and fast-growing company, shaping the creative direction of our products and design process, whilst having a massive impact on the business and your career development.

You’ll get a chance to: 👩‍💻 👨‍💻

• Work on products that are changing the way the world’s biggest asset class, and people’s most important purchase, is transacted.
• Think outside the box! 📦 The problems we’re solving are complex and full of historical quirks - we’re revolutionising a 150+ year old industry after all.
• Lead design efforts on products focused on a new step change in technology, AI.
• Conduct frequent user research interviews with a super engaged & transparent group of users. Our teams aim to speak with users and customers 3 times a week to inform and validate product decisions. You would be a huge part of that!
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Software Engineers to prioritise problems, identify requirements, and build innovative solutions.
• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and thoroughly documented design work for new and upgraded features
• Improve and evolve our design system, to ensure products maintain an intuitive, clean, and consistent UX.
• Measure and optimise for success - see how thousands of users are responding to your designs so that we can continually adapt and improve our products.

Requirements

You should apply if: ✍️

• Youʼve got 5+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on B2B SaaS products (experience in the legal or property sectors or would be a benefit but not required.)
• You have worked in a high-growth, early-stage startup and have a proven track record at delivering value for users.
• Youʼre keen and bring a positive energy to solving complex problems in technical domains and are able to design intuitive user experiences that present the data in simple, easy to understand ways.
• You thrive being hands on with design and taking ownership. You arenʼt afraid of working at pace when producing designs.
• You think creatively and can come up with innovative ideas in a collaborative team environment, e.g. using paper sketches or around a whiteboard.
• You conduct your own user research interviews and usability, testing your designs with real users to understand what works and what doesn't.
• Youʼre proficient and fast at using tools such as Figma and Miro to create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs, and deliver high-quality hand-offs
• Youʼre excellent at presenting your work and communicating your ideas and designs logically using a clear and rational story or narrative
• Youʼve built and maintained a design system for a B2B SaaS product
