Job Description

Role: Sr. AI Developer

Duration: Long Term

Location: Hybrid (Columbia, SC)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior AI Developer with expertise in Python, LangChain, LangGraph, and Generative AI technologies. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying intelligent AI-driven applications, particularly leveraging Azure API Management and cloud-native services. Experience with Azure DevOps is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop scalable AI and GenAI solutions using LangChain, LangGraph, and Python.

• Integrate LLM-based applications into enterprise systems via Azure API Management (APIM).

• Implement, test, and deploy conversational agents, knowledge bots, and AI assistants.

• Build pipelines and services for model orchestration, prompt engineering, and API interaction.

• Collaborate with data scientists, backend developers, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless AI integration.

• Manage and optimize API endpoints, access control, and usage monitoring via Azure APIM.

• Document and maintain best practices around code, models, APIs, and system architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong programming experience with Python in AI/ML or NLP applications.

• Hands-on experience with LangChain and LangGraph frameworks.

• Solid understanding of LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, HuggingFace, etc.) and Generative AI use cases.

• Experience working with Azure API Management (APIM) for API exposure, throttling, and security.

• Familiarity with prompt engineering, vector databases (like FAISS, Pinecone), and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).

• Ability to build, consume, and manage RESTful APIs.

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice to Have (Added Advantage):

• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and environment automation.

• Familiarity with cloud services like Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Functions, etc.

• Exposure to MLOps tools or AI product lifecycle management.
