Job Summary

The Data Analyst, Enterprise Data & Analyticswill be engaged in the development and implementation of Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency within Papa Johns. This role requires a deep understanding of requirements gathering and data analytics.

Duties & Responsibilities (other duties as assigned)

  • Product Vision & Strategy: Work with business stakeholders to define the vision and strategy for Business Intelligence and Analytics solutions tailored to the stakeholder’s specific business area or organization.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, finance, and supply chain, to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.

  • Backlog Management: Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collaborate with Data Engineers and BI Developers on the implementation of data analytics tools and dashboards that provide actionable insights to drive business performance.

  • Data Analysis: Quickly respond to business questions using data driven techniques such as SQL, Excel, and Tableau.  The Data Analyst should also use these tools to investigate data availability, data quality, and data structure to help guide requirement gathering and design approaches. 

  • Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of Business Intelligence and Analytics initiatives.

Education, Experience & Certifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst, with a focus on Business Intelligence and Analytics. Experience in the QSR industry is highly desirable.

Functional Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to derive meaningful insights from data.

  • Understanding of data warehousing topics such as data modeling, partitioning, and data transformation.

  • Understanding of agile methodologies and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).

  • Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL).

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
