The opportunity

As a Data Analyst, you will be instrumental in consistently delivering on the business objectives, whilst liaising and maintaining fundamental stakeholder relationships.

Your new role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst who will support the team by conducting analysis of business needs requiring technology solutions, map key processes and document business requirements and methodology. You will perform user acceptance testing, and support customer acceptance testing. Additionally, you will bring your expertise to life by addressing data-related inquiries using AI, available tools and procedures  to provide high-quality extracts or reports that meet requirements.

You will:

  • Address data-related inquiries using available tools and procedures to provide high-quality extracts or reports that meet requirements.
  •  Conduct impact assessments, investigate problems, analyse data in various databases, and resolve issues to maintain and enhance the quality and coverage of data within systems and data solutions
  • Liaise with the business to identify key metrics and develop reports or business models to monitor these on a regular basis
  • Determine most suitable tool e.g. Power BI, SQL, mapping tool, data warehouse, SAS database, excel
  • Manage reporting and analytics for relevant business unit, both internally and externally

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will have a technical reporting background within the Financial Services or Project sector and proven experience in a Data Analyst or Testing Analyst role. You will have had exposure to understanding data governance, data security and privacy, as well as demonstrated ability to provide support to various stakeholders across various levels.

You will:

  • Experience in business requirements gathering, data analysis, data mapping, and/or dimensional data modelling
  • Proficiency in AI tools and platforms for data analysis and model development.
  • A thorough approach to process documentation (e.g. Design, test, and document new or modifications to reports)
  • Strong skills in spreadsheets, reporting, modelling, databases and data visualisation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and influencing skills
  • Strong and creative problem-solving skills
