You have a passion for strategic data and analytics projects where you will additionally be providing project management and operational support. You will play a critical role of working with our distribution and marketing partners, key stakeholders, and enterprise teams to understand their needs, collect customer feedback, and deliver insights to influence the business strategy. You have strong interest in financial markets and the investment management industry.
The Insights and Analytics Group reports into the North America Distribution organization as a function driving business value using internal and external data, predictive analytics, and data science. The group focuses on providing cutting edge business intelligence and advanced analytic solutions to support the marketing efforts within North America Distribution. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for analytics to join the team to support our Wealth Management business.

You will leverage data to solve strategic, tactical, structured, and unstructured business problems.
You will design effective and impactful analytics data products, reports and visualizations to show distribution insights.
You will define, conduct research and analysis to create data-driven insights about distribution effectiveness and opportunities.
You will lead large strategic projects from scope definition to execution and implementation.
You will develop and update frameworks and roadmaps and track progress to implement strategic priorities for the team.
You will analyze operational issues with the Insights & Analytics team, partners, and stakeholders to anticipate and assess impacts, recommend a proposed solution, and execute implementation.
You will be responsible for interpreting and communicating results to analytical and non-analytical business partners and senior leaders.
You will demonstrate quick problem-solving skills and the ability to respond creatively to complex issues, using sound judgement.
Qualifications:
You have a bachelor’s degree in business, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, Finance, Economics, Econometrics or a related field. MS is preferred.
You have 2-4 years of experience in an analytics role with exposure to machine learning
You have excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to continually learn new concepts, technologies and effectively apply them.
You are proficient in SQL, BI tools (such as Tableau, Databricks, Power BI), and have knowledge using Python or R.
You have experience managing internal and external partners.
You have proven success in applying analytics results to the practical considerations of day-to-day business challenges.
You have strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact, influence, and negotiate effectively with peers and all levels of management.
You have interest or experience in financial markets, investment management, macroeconomics, or financial advice.
Southern California Base Salary Range: $121,652-$194,643
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
