Job Description:

  • Job Overview:

    The Engineering Platforms and Data Analytics Specialist will support the digitalization and standardization of project processes, lead the information management systems deployment and users support, the integration between systems, and lead data analysis initiatives.  This role will report to the Engineering Services Head of the Information Mgmt. & Project Control Department in North America and collaborate with various departments across the company.

    Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead the Engineering platforms implementation and configuration, like ProjectWise, ACC, Bluebeam, P6, and software integration for Ferrovial projects.
  • Participate in the standardization and generation of Power BI panels/dashboards for data visualization.
  • Develop and implement data analysis methodologies, techniques, and tools.
  • Maintaining and updating data systems.
  • Promote standardization and assist in the implementation of digital processes.
  • Document processes in user guides and manuals and develop information management procedures.
  • Participate in BETAs or pilots of new software or products before deploying live projects.
  • Identify and lead opportunities for improvement regarding data and information management.
  • Organize and provide training concerning processes, methods, and tools.
  • Promote the digitalization culture by contributing to the identification, development, and implementation of training programs.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Information systems, Computer science.
  • +3 years of experience
  • Experience within Civil Construction Industry
  • Prior experience in Engineering collaborative environments such as Project Wise or ACC
  • Power Query and Power BI, Phyton, will be positively considered
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps and services.
  • Must have an in-depth working knowledge in leading meetings, teams, and training
  • Must be able to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to apply knowledge and experience to daily decisions and resolution of issues
  • Proactive approach to incorporating new technologies.
  • Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals
  • Job is mostly performed indoors in a traditional office setting. Occasional trips to projects and other office locations may be required.
