Role & Responsibilities
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced manager, Data Analytics and Operations to join Samsung’s NA Fintech Business team. This role will be hands-on and highly operational, reporting directly to the director, Operation & Finance of NA Fintech Business.
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for analyzing big data related to consumer credit customers, spending patterns, and application funnels. Your insights will play a critical role in optimizing our consumer credit product offerings, enhancing customer satisfaction, and identifying opportunities for growth and innovation. By leveraging advanced analytics tools and techniques, you will uncover actionable insights that inform business strategies and ensure operational excellence.
- Be the key player in developing and implementing data-driven strategies to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency through actionable insights gathered from various sources of data
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Data collection and management – define data set requirements for the Fintech business, including, but not limited to consumer credit product use, marketing results, operational and customer service related and ensure our systems are capturing required data for analysis and reporting.
- Work with stakeholders to define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Identify opportunities to optimize business processes based on data analysis results
- Data analysis and dashboard development – based on the required data set, design and maintain interactive dashboards and comprehensive reports using advanced data visualization tools such as Tableau or other tools used internally.
- Utilize advanced analytics tools and techniques to uncover insights that inform business decisions.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of customer behavior, spending trends, and application funnel performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage data analysis results to identify opportunities to optimize business processes, improve existing product offerings, and to capture new product innovation.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in data analytics, operations management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in leading and managing high-performing teams.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Expertise in big data technologies and cloud-based solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
- Strong communication skills to effectively present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
