GENERAL FUNCTION
As the Cyber Data Product Owner, you’ll work closely with the Director of Cyber Security Defense Engineering and key stakeholders across threat interdiction, information security, and the broader organization to define and prioritize features that drive meaningful security outcomes. You’ll lead the execution of the product roadmap, focusing on the development and adoption of capabilities of our cloud based, software-defined, DevOps-driven, data warehouse-backed cyber data ecosystem. This ecosystem provides transformation of raw cyber data into actionable knowledge and strategic wisdom.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Drive product strategy and execution by partnering with Information Security, IT, Risk, Finance, Operations, and other key stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver impactful capabilities.
- Champion the evolution of metrics and cyber data technologies, enabling intelligence, reporting, and decision-making across the security organization.
- Collaborate with the Cyber Data Engineering team to leverage technologies like AWS, Snowflake, Power BI, purpose-built software, many data sources and consumers, and any other tools or technologies potentially required that underpin the ecosystem.
- Inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to deliver on the product roadmap, continuously improving outcomes and user experience.
- Lead agile product delivery using SAFe methodologies, maintaining a healthy backlog, participating in team ceremonies, and ensuring timely delivery of high-value features.
- Translate complex requirements into clear, prioritized deliverables that support both strategic initiatives and operational excellence.
- Establish and track product OKRs, using data to measure performance, and risk mitigation.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance to business partners and ensuring transparency through regular communication and documentation.
- Collaborate across functions-including IS teams, Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, Audit, Architecture, Governance, Technology teams and Lines of Business and others-to gain alignment and ensure regulatory and governance compliance.
- Make informed decisions in complex environments to support compliance, risk reduction, process optimization, and business-wide analytics needs.
- Engage in research and usability testing with leaders to validate concepts and identify user needs and solutions.
- Manage third-party relationships, ensuring smooth product releases, issue resolution, and a seamless experience for users.
- Stay current on industry trends by participating in professional forums, conferences, and associations.

What you should have
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and related work experience.
- 8+ years of related experience.
- Expertise in strategic development and program execution.
- Solid product management background required; Strong presence with ability to interact with and influence all levels of the organization.
- Advanced consultative and well-articulated communication and writing skills with the ability to interact and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of data warehouses, data pipelines, metrics, reporting and visualization
- Significant experience working with software and data engineering teams to create fit for purpose products.
- AWS experience with modern serverless and hybrid patterns
- Experience working in Agile or SAFE development preferred.
- Ability to promote a work environment that fosters creative thinking and innovation between all team members, customers, and users.

- Effortlessly collaborative with strong intellectual curiosity and creative problem solving.
- Advanced analytical skills with ability to work through complex concepts/data and present well thought-out, simple solutions.
- Ability to self-motivate and work well independently and with different teams.
- Knowledge of tools commonly used for Information Security is bonus, such as Splunk, Brinqa, Qualys, SOAR tools, Crowdstrike, Prisma, etc.
