As a Data Architect, you're passionate about designing enterprise-scale data ecosystems that enable organizations to unlock the full potential of their intelligence assets. You understand how modern data architectures can seamlessly integrate diverse data sources while maintaining security, governance, and performance at petabyte scale. We need a Data Architect like you to design solutions that will revolutionize how intelligence organizations structure, govern, and derive insights from vast multi-domain datasets across their entire enterprise. 

On our team, you'll architect the foundational data strategy for our intelligence analysis platform, designing comprehensive data models and governance frameworks that support everything from real-time sensor ingestion to long-term analytical research. You'll apply enterprise architecture principles to create unified data lakes, establish data mesh patterns, and implement sophisticated metadata management that enables seamless discovery and correlation across SIGINT, IMINT, OSINT, and HUMINT domains. Using AWS services like Lake Formation, Glue, and advanced analytics platforms, you'll design scalable architectures that enable your team to deliver enterprise-wide data strategies that transform fragmented intelligence silos into a cohesive, AI-ready intelligence ecosystem. 

In this role, you'll directly impact national security by designing the strategic data foundation that enables autonomous intelligence fusion and enterprise-wide analytical capabilities. You Have: 

• 7+ years of experience with designing enterprise data architectures, data modeling, governance frameworks, and large-scale system design  

• Experience leading architectural decisions across multiple engineering teams and stakeholder groups 

• Knowledge of modern data architecture patterns, such as data lakes, data mesh, or lakehouse

• Knowledge of AWS data ecosystem services  

• Ability to design secure, compliant data architectures that meet regulatory requirements and implement enterprise-grade data governance and lineage tracking 

• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance  

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Information Systems  

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience with federal data compliance frameworks 

• Experience with intelligence data types, classification systems, and designing architectures for multi-level security environments  

• Knowledge of AI/ML data requirements, feature stores, model governance, and designing data platforms optimized for machine learning workflows  

• Ability to establish data strategy across large organizations and implement enterprise data governance programs in highly regulated environments  

• Secret clearance

• TOGAF or AWS Data Analytics Specialty Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
