As a Senior Intelligent Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for driving projects demonstrating Agile methodology and working closely with global business partners and counterparts. You will work with Micron business unit customers as a citizen developer to define requirements and develop automations in accordance with standard processes. You may also be tasked with supervising and maintaining existing automations to include root cause analysis for failures and recommendations for corrective actions.

As part of the Strategy and Business Operations team, we support all Micron business units in process development and supporting enterprise application solutions. Our goal is to assist business users in demonstrating automation and emerging technologies, such as GenAI, Agentic AI, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA), to solve business problems and enable data-driven decision-making. Additionally, we collaborate with external partners to bring in diverse expertise and innovative solutions, ensuring that we stay at the forefront of technological advancements and deliver the best possible outcomes for our business units

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Design and develop strategies and recommendations for UiPath-enabled solutions including key aspects of architecture, migration, and security.
• Knowledgeable about emerging technologies (Ex: Gen-AI, Agentic AI, Machine Leaning and Natural Language Processing)
• Plan and participate in deployment of automation platform components, including bots, orchestrators, development tools, and systems integrations, while adhering to enterprise requirements for security, scalability, and performance.
• Monitor the effectiveness and operation of RPA based automations across multiple environments and platforms
• Design and develop assigned automation tasks, using tools such as UiPath Orchestrator for Robotic Process Automation that support business requirements and testing.
• Design and develop Agentic AI using UiPath Studio and Agent Builder, Copilot studio or similar tools
• Knowledge of technologies, other tools and methods to accelerate development.
• Support deployments or troubleshoot production issues
• Daily administration (audits) of the production environment (running processes, maintaining virtual resource machines, viewing logs etc).
• Develop documentation, deliver demos, technical training, and support new/existing process owners.
• Solve issues that arise in the day-to-day running of RPA processes and assist in the provision of timely responses and solutions as required.
• Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and business processes.
•  Provide training to the current team on best practices and serve as a key architect for new and emerging technologies.
• This role involves collaborating with a global team and business partners. Therefore, some predictable flexibility in working hours will be expected, typically from 2 PM to 11 PM IST.

Key Skills and Capabilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT related fields like Computer Science or Information Science preferred with 5+ years of relevant experience or
• Master’s degree in IT related fields like Computer Science or Information Science preferred with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years’ hands-on experience with UiPath automation or other automation tools is required.
• 2+ years’ experience in C/C++, Python, VB Script, Ruby, Java, JS, .Net.
• Experience/Knowledge with SQL and enterprise databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience building automations using Enterprise applications such as SAP, Teamcenter, Rapid response and Snowflake is helpful.
• Knowledge of Gen-AI, Agentic AI and machine learning is a huge plus.
• Familiarity with reporting tools such as Tableau and Power BI is a plus.
