At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Data Scientist to join our UniQue team.
What will you be doing in this role?
- Use data science and analytics tools (e.g., Python, R, Jupyter Notebook, Power BI, KNIME) for data processing and analysis.
- Perform data analysis and build data models using modern analytics platforms.
- Develop and refine machine learning models and AI algorithms.
- Carry out data integration and transformation tasks (ETL processes).
- Conduct data analytics activities, including creation of dashboards and reports.
- Coordinate the implementation of technical architectures, particularly in hybrid-cloud environments.
- Serve as the technical interface between project leaders and development teams.
- Analyze and integrate various information systems.
- Review and evaluate the architecture of existing systems.
- Produce detailed software architecture documentation.
- Participate in technical working groups, project meetings, and user discussions.
- Support testing, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting phases.
- Collaborate with business analysts, users, customers, developers, and project leaders to ensure alignment across all stakeholders.
Requirements
What will you be bringing to the team?
- Hold at least a Bachelor's Degree.
- At least 5 years of experience as a product owner or project manager, with proven ability to gather stakeholder needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience with KNIME Analytics, including building workflows and setting up KNIME Desktop and/or Server instances.
- At least 3 years of experience with Power BI, including building reports and embedded apps using diverse data sources and for near real-time use cases.
- Minimum 3 years of development experience in modern programming languages and frameworks, with strong proficiency in Python.
- Experience developing predictive models using various tools and platforms, preferably on Azure.
- Very good knowledge of data modelling, data integration, and data visualisation techniques, especially using KNIME and Power BI.
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to write clear, structured, and well-organized technical documentation.
- Proficiency in English language at a minimum B2 level.
