In the V2 AI business you are able to teach and lead others based on your experience and you’re able to produce collateral and repeatable solutions that others can follow. You consistently stay at the forefront of AI by staying up to date with all the latest developments in the space. You are a confident public speaker and content writer who will be asked to share your AI experience with the internal and external community.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Experience and skills in as many of the following as possible (we realise you won't have everything):

  • 8+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Applied AI, including 2+ years in GenAI-focused initiatives.
  • Proven enterprise experience delivering production-grade AI solutions, not just prototypes — with emphasis on GenAI use cases (LLMs, transformers, embeddings, fine-tuning).
  • Strong proficiency in Python and key AI/ML libraries including LLM APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini), agentic frameworks (CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel), ML foundations (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn), and deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Transformers).
  • Ability to create production-ready LLM applications with expertise in fine-tuning/adaptation techniques for both API-based and open-source models. Proficient in containerising LLM workloads and deploying scalable solutions via Kubernetes, with experience optimizing CPU/GPU-based inference containers and leveraging CUDA for high-performance model serving in production environments.
  • Deep understanding of  LLMOps best practices: prompt engineering and management, model fine-tuning and deployment pipelines, LLM monitoring and evaluation metrics, version control for prompts and models, and automated model updates and rollbacks.
  • Experience with Agentic AI systems and AgentOps: designing and orchestrating multi-agent workflows, agent performance monitoring and debugging, tool integration and API management, conversation flow optimisation, and deploying autonomous agents in production environments.
  • Hands-on expertise across cloud platforms - AWS (Lambda, AWS CDK, Dynamo DB, state machine, SageMaker, Bedrock, EC2, CloudFormation), with working knowledge of GCP (Gemini, Vertex AI, BigQuery, Compute Engine, Cloud Build) and/or Azure (AzureAI Foundry, ML Studio, Container Apps,, ARM templates). Experience with infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, and deploying to production environments.
  • Experience working with unstructured data (text, image, audio, video) and transforming it for AI/ML applications.
  • Exposure to data engineering tools and concepts: ETL/ELT pipelines, SQL, Spark, Apache Airflow, or equivalents.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership in AI project delivery, leading client engagements, mentoring teams, and guiding architecture decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage AI project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline, aligning technical execution with business objectives.
  • Skilled at stakeholder communication, translating complex AI concepts into actionable business value.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams (product, engineering, data, and business leaders).
