Role Purpose 

The role is responsible for monitoring the implementation of strategies & policies to ensure portfolio growth, monitoring that delinquencies are within benchmarks through regular tracking mechanisms together with collaborating with cross-functional teams and active stakeholder management to achieve organization goals.

Role Accountability 

  1. Optimize strategy (for SBI Shikhar) through regular engagements with the parent Bank
  2. Maintain & sustain profitability in Encash Portfolio while meeting Yearly Targets & maintain delinquency below benchmark
  3. Design and implement new programs to generate additional revenue and increase the EMI book 
  4. Optimize credit line allocation across the portfolio to manage spending & portfolio profitability as per MOU
  5. Supervise data analytics, modeling, and segmentation for portfolio management
  6. Evaluate portfolio segments with high-risk concentration due to high unsecured credit exposure and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks
  7. Oversee end-to-end daily review of transaction declines to maximize authorization rate and optimize extended authorization strategy across portfolio segments 
  8. Manage existing relationships and future implementation of any new card network - Visa/Mastercard/Rupay/Amex/JCB
  9. Approve AI /ML /Automation techniques in business processes to enhance process efficiency and customer experience
  10. Oversee successful implementation of the exit process of all secured cards with partner banks
  11. Approve segmentation based on sourcing channel, CAT C/SE/BANCA/Open market, moratorium behavior, and card usage pattern
  12. Ensure optimal utilization of Bureau/alternate data to launch various cross-sell campaigns and portfolio growth strategies
  13. Oversee the development and implementation of effective risk management strategies that help mitigate credit losses and increase portfolio
  14. Partner with compliance to understand the recent regulatory/network guidelines and analyze implications on the portfolio in order to respond to regulatory guidelines
  15. Assist project lead and work with team members to draft the Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and co-ordinate for approval 
  16. Influence or lead efforts that support the organization's regulatory compliance
  17. Support in all the portfolio-related data requirements as per Regulator’s requirement for audit & inspection purposes
  18. Maintain portfolio loss rates within the defined benchmarks
  19. Resolve customer queries escalated by the customer service team wrt to limit the increase

Technical Skills / Experience / Certifications

  1. Expertise in Data Analytics & Modelling
  2. Strong understanding of the cards business dynamics that will drive the analysis
  3. Expertise in data analytics and system tools such as SAS, TRIAD, V+, Python
  4. Knowledge of Card networks, Access Control Sys
