BI Developer / Consulting Level

Position Summary

The BI Developer/Consulting Level is responsible for building BI dashboards in Qlik Sense as part of Pricing Transparency for services across facilities and Pricing Transparency of services provided at a specific facility.

Responsibilities:

• Proficiently navigate Qlik Sense's interface, understand its features, and be able to create interactive, powerful reports and dashboards.
• Data Modeling: Develop and refine data models, including defining relationships between tables, understanding data types, and optimizing for performance.
• Data Load Scripting: Write and debug data load scripts, including handling data from various sources, transforming data, and managing data relationships.
• Set Analysis and QVD Files: Master set analysis techniques for advanced calculations and create efficient QVD files for data preparation and transformation.
• SQL and Database Design: Strong understanding of SQL syntax and database design principles, enabling effective interaction with various data sources.
• Data Transformation Techniques: Experience with various data transformation techniques, such as data cleaning, data validation, and data enrichment.
• Visualization Best Practices: Develop visually appealing and informative dashboards, ensuring accurate representation of data and effective communication of insights.

• Interprets results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining independently.
• Designs, develops, implements and maintains business solutions. Works with main clients and project and business leaders to identify analytical requirements. Provides tutorship to junior analysts.
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of BI Development experience
• 10+ years experience developing dashboarding using Qlik View, Qlike Sense, Qlik Cloud, Qlik Analytics, Qlik APIs or similar BI tools
• Any Healthcare industry experience is a huge plus
• Communication: Ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including stakeholders and end-users.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to understand business requirements, identify data gaps, and translate them into effective Qlik Sense solutions.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues, debug scripts, and find creative solutions to complex problems.
• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with other developers, data engineers, and business analysts.
