Senior Analytics Consultant

Summary of the role

Join our Growth & Intelligence team as an Analytics Services Consultant, owning a portfolio of airline clients and partnering with stakeholders up to the C-Level. You’ll work alongside experienced consultants to deliver end-to-end e-commerce optimization - from acquisition strategy through conversion rate enhancement - by turning big-data sets (Amadeus Data Platform, Azure Databricks) into clear, actionable insights via Qlik, Tableau, and Power BI, and ensuring every solution aligns with core business objectives.

In this role, you will

• Serve as the lead contact for a portfolio of airline clients, engaging C-Level executives.

• Analyze and model client/market data (competitors, products, suppliers) to inform strategic decisions.

• Run consulting workshops on e-commerce optimization: media mix, marketing strategy, IBE efficiency, merchandising, upsell, SEO/SEM.

• Present concise, data-driven insights and recommendations to all stakeholder levels.

• Partner with internal teams to resolve customer pain points and deliver end-to-end solutions.

• Use Amadeus Data Platform on Azure Databricks for ad hoc analyses and to build scalable analytics services.

• Define, automate, and deliver regular and bespoke reports via internal analytics tools.

• Analyze user behavior, conversion funnels, and booking flows to enhance digital experiences.

• Build and maintain KPI dashboards, enforcing data-visualization best practices.

• Lead AI/ML pilots (demand forecasting, recommendation engines) to boost revenue and work with engineering to embed AI-driven personalization and chatbots into customer applications.

About the Ideal Candidate:

Consulting & Data Analysis:

• Strong consulting skills with experience in extracting insights and driving business improvements.

• Experience in data analysis and modeling for business insights.

• Solid knowledge of digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).

• Familiarity with SQL

• Experience in the travel industry is a strong plus.

Data Visualization:

• Proven experience in building effective dashboards in Qlik, Power BI, or Tableau.

• Ability to enforce best practices in data visualization and reporting.

Big Data & Cloud Technologies:

• Experience with Azure cloud technologies, particularly Azure Databricks and Databricks SQL is a strong plus

• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, and Impala is a plus.

• Understanding of Snowflake Data Cloud is a plus.

• Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) to unify and activate customer data is a strong plus

Development & AI (Bonus):

• Python scripting for analytics, automation, and basic ML prototyping

• Experience piloting or deploying ML models (e.g., forecasting, recommendations)

• Exposure to generative AI or integrating AI-driven personalization

Qualifications:

• University degree in computer science, business studies, or a related field, or relevant experience.

Other Requirements:

• Proven experience in data analysis, consulting, and/or data visualization.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and prioritization skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a global, multicultural environment.

• Proactive, adaptable, and innovative mindset in a fast-paced setting.
