Position Specific Description

Business Management Strategic Initiatives team is seeking a seasoned Data Analytics Engineer to drive the development and execution of advanced analytical solutions for Operations, Finance, and leadership. This role involves close coordination with cross-functional business groups and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality visual analytical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

•        Lead and manage a team to develop data-driven solutions, ensuring the delivery of high-quality analytics.

•        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize data flows and processes.

•        Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust data solutions to meet stakeholder needs.

•        Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across all analytical solutions.

•        Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, fostering best practices and advanced analytical techniques.

•        Execute on strategic data projects, contributing to broader business management initiatives across regions and disciplines.

Position Specific Required Skills:

•        Inquisitive mindset and ability to dive deep into business processes and identifying systems integration and data flows.

•        Proven ability to work with large datasets (terabyte sizes) sourced from relational and non-relational databases.

•        Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity.

•        Advanced proficiency in tools like Excel, Python, Power BI, SQL.

•        Experience with Microsoft Power Platform or the ability to rapidly acquire proficiency.

•        Experience with Agile tools and practices.

Position Specific Preferred Skills:

•        Exposure or experience working with UXpin/Invision for prototyping solutions.

•        A knack for data visualization and creating impactful dashboards.

Job Overview

The individual will be responsible for integrating a myriad of data sources in an effort to create information assets vital to operations and critical to enabling more predictive, proactive, and strategic decision-making. This position is responsible for understanding and anticipating the business needs and expectations of both internal and external stakeholders.

• Draws insights from data and makes recommendations
• Conducts data analytics to support key business unit initiatives
• Develops predictive models
• Oversees data strategy and governance for business unit
• Monitors end-to-end business processes data for opportunities to improve
• Provides support to the business on the use of data analytics tools
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience: 8+ years
• Supervisor/Management Experience: 3+ years

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree
