Responsibilities

  • Lead efforts to operationalize at scale by reducing incident volume, analyzing incidents globally, and providing broad resolutions.  
  • Be a technical leader to engineers, own project efforts, be accountable end-to-end. 
  • Identify requirements, scope solutions, estimate work, and schedule deliverables.  
  • Apply engineering principles to establish robust and maintainable architecture and designs.  
  • Promote and drive the adoption of good coding standards and patterns. 

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience in applying machine learning techniques and drive end-to-end AI product development. 
  • 1+ years working with Large Language Models. 
  • Driven by a growth mindset, and advocate for diversity and inclusion. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years  technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python 
  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python 
  • OR equivalent experience. 
  • Computer Science, Math, Statistics, or related areas with industry experience or publication record in the areas of Large Language Models, Machine Learning, or Natural Language Processing.   
  • Problem solving and data analysis skills, with expertise in developing or applying predictive analytics, statistical modelling, data mining, or machine learning algorithms.   
  • Experience with Prompt optimizations, Data Mining with language models, Agentic systems. 
  • Leadership skills to influence others, with the ability to understand team dynamics, retain, attract, and develop team members. 
  • Customer obsessed and passionate about product impact. 
  • Proven track record in shipping end-to-end features.
  • Solid cross team collaboration skills. 


Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
