Description: Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting end-user systems and software, ensuring proper functionality of desktop systems, and providing technical support to users. This role involves diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, managing user accounts and permissions, and assisting with the installation and deployment of new systems and applications. Key Responsibilities Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for end-users, providing first- and second-level support. System Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems, including hardware and software, to ensure optimal performance. Hardware and Software Support: Provide support for various operating systems (Windows, macOS), applications, and peripherals. Networking: Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues, including LAN/WAN and Wi-Fi. Software Installation and Upgrades: Install and upgrade software, including operating systems, applications, and updates. Documentation and Training: Document technical issues and solutions, and train users on new hardware and software. Problem Escalation: Effectively escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support personnel. Vendor Coordination: Work with vendors to resolve technical problems and procure necessary hardware and software. Top 3 non-negotiable must have skills: - Python development skills - Strong AWS knowledge particularly Python, SQL, ECS, EMR, Lambda, Redshift, Glue ETL, DMS, SQS/SNS, PostGres RDS, S3, Oracle - Testing automation
