Summary/Objective:
Blue Owl Insurance Solutions (BOIS) is searching for a Data Integrity Group (DIG), Vice President, which will be a member and join the BOIS Operations Team and lead a team of DIG professionals. The DIG, Vice President is responsible for providing high-quality and timely operational client service to both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with exceptional attention to detail, the ability to work under tight deadlines and lead a team of DIG professionals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to self-manage in a high volume, fast-paced environment with strict deadlines and lead a team of DIG professionals.
- Oversee the daily maintenance, oversight, and quality control checks of Security Master Files/Data in BlackRock to ensure analytics are generating appropriately and within expectations.
- Manage the research and resolution of any complex investment data & reporting related issues.
- Lead the continued development of BOIS’s data analytics capability and monitor data quality across BOIS and aid in the evaluation of data quality tools and monitoring systems.
- Communicate daily with internal departments and third-party venders to expedite timely resolution of data, reporting, cash projections, and system related issues.
- Lead the internal initiative to develop a comprehensive data catalog and data glossary.
- Maintain day-to-day relationships with the clients.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of written procedures.
- Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly audits as required.
- Participate in technology development efforts and process optimization as needed.
Requirements:
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management Information Systems, Information Services, or a comparably technical field.
- 6-10 years of work experience in financial services or an adjacent industry, preferably on cross-functional teams.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Competent in Microsoft Office programs, strong Excel skills are necessary.
- BlackRock experience required.
- Must have strong professionalism and communication skills.
- Displays excellent organization, time management and planning skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Displays high attention to detail, accuracy, thoroughness, and thoughtfulness.
- Commitment to meeting identified quality and efficiency standards.
- Commits to satisfying internal and external customers.
- Ability to translate / experience with data from multiple environments (e.g.: data warehouse, data modeling, data pipelines / ETL, accounting system, risk-management system).
Skills/Competencies
- Working knowledge of financial markets and investment vehicles including fixed income, private credit, and equities.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Analytical mindset and ability to work effectively and lead cross-functional teams.
- Ability to balance big picture with details.
- Ability to collaborate with key partners and business leaders.
- Demonstrable understanding of data management principles and governance best practices
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results under pressure in a tight timeframe.
- Some Python background preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL, Snowflake, and BI tools (Looker, PowerBI, Tableau).
- Proficiency in data modeling techniques and statistical analysis of data.
Physical Demands

It is expected that the base annual salary range for this Chicago based position will be $125,000 - $150,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors, such as skill, experience, and qualification for the role. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, based on factors such as individual and team performance.
