Johnson & Johnson is hiring for a Data Analyst, Project Manager II – Shockwave to join our team located in Santa Clara, CA.

Fueled by innovation at the intersection of biology and technology, we’re developing the next generation of smarter, less invasive, more personalized treatments. Ready to join a team that’s pioneering the development and commercialization of Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) to treat complex calcified cardiovascular disease. Our Shockwave Medical portfolio aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque.

Position Overview

The Data Analyst, Project Manager II is responsible for supporting either R&D OPEX projects, Commercial Operations, or J&J Integration projects by providing relevant project data for PMO and Shockwave business functions to ensure project and program information and reports are adhered to the business requirements. Responsible for gathering data from projects to produce reports and forecasts for past and future project performance.

Essential Job Functions

  • Supports the development and implementation of PMO enterprise system and tools.
  • Gathers data from project managers, project teams, and generate reports for management teams.
  • Supports the delivery and tracks changes of project data across the organization.
  • Engages with stakeholders at all levels including portfolio, program, project managers, and PMO management team to ensure timely provision of accurate information.
  • Capture, sort, improve, report, and analyze collected data for the PMO and Key Stakeholders as needed.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships across diverse teams and constructively challenge project information.
  • Monitor projects to ensure quality data is captured and accurately reported.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Business, Data Analytics, Information System with 2+ years of project management experience, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • Previous PMO system and enterprise tool implementation experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency with tracking and reporting tools, experience with large data sets and business tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, SAS).
  • Experience analyzing large data sets.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Understanding of a project lifecycle and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated track record of establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, adept at navigating organizational challenges and possess the ability to work through others and accomplish objectives.
  • Capable of performing under the pressure of multiple competing deadlines while maintaining a cooperative and constructive working relationship with others.
  • Outstanding verbal & written communication skills.
  • High level of enthusiasm, motivation, and drive for results.

Additional Information:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $86,000-$138,000

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.

  • Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
  • Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
  • Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
    • Vacation – up to 120 hours per calendar year
    • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington – up to 56 hours per calendar year
    • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – up to 13 days per calendar year
    • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
