Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with hands-on expertise in Informatica IICS, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) and Tableau, along with functional experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and Dynamics CRM. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL and Python programming skills, take ownership of data projects, collaborate effectively with business teams, and excel as both a team player and an individual contributor to build and maintain scalable data pipelines that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and Microsoft Fabric Data factory for efficient ETL/ELT processes.

  • Build and optimize data models in Snowflake to support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.

  • Leverage Microsoft Fabric to unify data integration, analytics, and reporting workflows, ensuring seamless data processing and insights delivery.

  • Utilize Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) to create advanced analytics solutions, including data visualizations and dashboards

  •  Develop semantic models and data visualizations in Power BI for business insights.

  • Implement best practices in data governance, quality, and performance tuning within the Fabric environment.

  • Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data, ensuring high performance and accuracy.

  • Develop and automate data workflows using Python for data processing, scripting, and integration tasks.

  • Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau and OAC to deliver actionable insights to business stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with business teams to understand and support data needs related to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations processes.

  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data systems, adhering to best practices and compliance standards.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to optimize data workflows, improve performance, and enhance data accessibility for business users.

  • Take ownership of data engineering projects, driving them from requirements gathering to deployment while meeting deadlines and quality standards.

  • Document data processes, architectures, and workflows to ensure maintainability and scalability.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred but not required).

  • 5 - 7 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer

  • Proven expertise in Informatica IICS and Microsoft Fabric for building and managing ETL/ELT pipelines.

  • Strong experience with Snowflake for data warehousing, data modeling, and performance optimization.

  • Proficiency in Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) for creating analytics solutions, dashboards, and reports.

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric for unified data integration, analytics, and reporting.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft technologies (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, SQL Server, or other Azure data services).

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python or Spark, Data Warehousing and data modeling.

  • Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments.

  • Experience with CI/CD, version control (Git), and DevOps for data pipelines is a plus.

  • Functional experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, including knowledge of its data structures and integration requirements.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with business teams, gather requirements, and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Ability to work effectively as both a team player and an independent contributor, with a track record of taking ownership of projects.
