Location: Dublin

Overview of the role:

We're seeking a motivated Data Analyst to join our international Growth team at Betfair. This role reports to our Senior Acquisition Analyst and forms part of our International Growth team responsible for acquisition reporting, customer value metrics, budgeting, strategy, and CRM analysis.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering insight on all Digital and CRM Marketing activities. You’ll split your time between digital marketing analytics and CRM analysis while working closely with our Senior Acquisition Analyst and Senior Growth Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their data analytics career to gain experience across multiple growth marketing channels while receiving mentorship from experienced team members. This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognising that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.

Our recently renovated Dublin office is the perfect place for team collaboration and individual growth. It hosts 2 cafes, a games room, gym and an abundance of meeting rooms catered for groups of all sizes. We also run regular social and well-being initiatives, from annual sports days to weekly nail technicians on-site.

What you’ll do:

  • Support digital acquisition reporting and analysis, helping track performance across all channels (Paid search, SEO, Social, Affiliates, CRM)

  • Assist with CRM analytics to measure customer engagement and campaign effectiveness

  • Prepare regular reports on key acquisition and retention metrics

  • Help maintain and improve data dashboards for stakeholder reporting

  • Analyze customer behavior data to identify patterns and opportunities

  • Support the team with ad-hoc data requests and analysis projects

  • Contribute to data-driven decision making for marketing budget allocation

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (STEM)

  • 0-2 years of experience in data analysis or a related field

  • Proven experience in an analytical role with SQL/Oracle,

  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint

  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain data insights clearly and succinctly

  • Understanding of digital marketing metrics and customer lifecycle analysis

  • Experience with business intelligence tools (Looker or similar)

  • Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis

  • Understanding of the sports betting/gaming industry
