As we scale, data is at the heart of everything we do — from launching high-performing campaigns to optimizing the onboarding flow for new users. We’re looking for a sharp and curious Business & Data Analyst Intern to help us turn raw numbers into actionable insights for our growth team.
Role OverviewAs a Business & Data Analyst Intern, you’ll support the Marketing & Growth team with data-driven analysis to improve user acquisition, retention, and engagement. You’ll work across campaign data, funnel metrics, and feature usage to identify what’s working and where we can improve. Expect hands-on experience with SQL, dashboards, and real business impact.
Key Responsibilities📊 Data & Funnel Analysis
Analyze the user journey: from app install to first transaction
Identify bottlenecks in onboarding, KYC, and activation steps
Build dashboards to visualize user funnels and conversion rates
📈 Marketing Performance & Attribution
Support campaign performance analysis across Meta, TikTok, and Google Ads
Calculate key metrics like CAC, CTR, CVR, and ROAS
Compare paid vs organic acquisition effectiveness
🔁 Retention & Lifecycle Insights
Conduct cohort analysis (D1, D7, D30 retention) across user segments
Analyze user churn trends and help recommend re-engagement strategies
Track the impact of CRM campaigns (email, push) on user activity
📂 SQL & Dashboarding
Write basic SQL queries to extract and clean data
Help automate reports and create self-service dashboards (Data Studio, Looker)
Document queries and dashboards for future use
🔍 Segmentation & Personalization
Group users by behavior (e.g., top-up frequency, cashback usage)
Support personalized campaign targeting with user insights
- Recommend content or product strategies tailored to high-value segments
Real-world data analytics in a fast-moving fintech
How to connect data to marketing and product decisions
Building and optimizing growth funnels with data
SQL, dashboard tools, and experiment analysis
How cross-functional teams (growth, product, CRM) use data to scale
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields
Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas)
Familiarity with data tools (Google Analytics, SQL, Data Studio) — training will be provided
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Curious, self-driven, and eager to solve real-world problems
Basic SQL knowledge
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI)
Interest in fintech or experience using e-wallets (e.g., TNG, Boost, GrabPay)
Familiarity with CRM, lifecycle marketing, or cohort analysis
Monthly internship allowance
