Compensation Range:

$106,700.00 - $140,000.00 Annual Salary

Job Description Summary:

Collect, process, and analyze data to help drive informed business decisions. Work with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, develop analytical models, and ensure data accuracy and integrity. Key responsibilities include data cleaning and transformation, statistical analysis, and creating detailed reports to communicate findings effectively.

Job Description:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
 

Data Analysis and Transformation

  • Collect, clean, and process raw data from various sources
  • Transform data into a suitable format for analysis
  • Collaborate with data engineers to understand data sources and structures
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all analyses

Statistical Analysis and Reporting

  • Perform statistical analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and insights
  • Develop and maintain analytical models to support business decisions
  • Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning

Data Visualization and Communication

  • Develop data visualizations to effectively communicate insights
  • Understand stakeholder needs and tailor visualizations to meet those needs
  • Use storytelling techniques to convey insights and recommendations clearly and compellingly

Tool and Technology Management

  • Utilize a comprehensive technology stack for data analysis, processing, analytics, visualization, and storytelling to achieve impactful results
  • Stay updated on the latest tools and technologies in data analysis
  • Recommend and implement new tools and technologies as needed
  • Provide training and support to end-users on analytical tools and best practices

Performance Metrics and Reporting

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to data analysis projects
  • Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and improve the analytical user experience
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership

Relationship Building and Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization
  • Actively engage with stakeholders to understand their data needs and challenges
  • Stay current on industry trends and technological advancements to provide innovative solutions
  • Other responsibilities as assigned


MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis or a related role
  • Proven experience in collecting, processing, and analyzing large datasets
  • Strong understanding of analytical tools and best practices
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical techniques
  • Proficiency in Excel, R, Python, or SQL for data analysis
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or Looker for business intelligence
  • Proficiency in Databricks, Snowflake, or Redshift for processing and analytics
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
     

Preferred certifications include:

  • Certified Data Visualization Professional (CDVP)
  • Certified Data Analyst (CDA)
  • Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate
