Mission and Goals
As a Data Engineer II on our Data Engineering team, you will play a key role in supporting core projects such as Advertiser Ingests. You’ll apply your technical expertise to enhance our data processes and contribute to our continued growth. Reporting to the Director of Data Engineering, you’ll collaborate with a driven team focused on building reliable, scalable data solutions that power business insights and decision-making.
Objectives
Support and maintain data ingestion processes by addressing bugs, implementing feature enhancements, and ensuring data accuracy.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ingest advertiser data extracts and optimize pipelines for performance and reliability.
Contribute to business insights by maintaining clean, reliable data flows
Competencies
3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, preferably in digital media or personal finance.
Foundational understanding of digital marketing concepts and their relevance to data-driven decision-making.
Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation, querying, and automation.
Experience with modern data tools such as DBT and Airflow (or similar workflow orchestration tools).
Ability to build, enhance, and troubleshoot ingest pipelines.
Proficient in working with Snowflake or other cloud-based data platforms for data storage, querying, and optimization.
Attention to detail in identifying and resolving data quality issues, bugs, and inconsistencies in advertiser data extracts.
Ability to align data initiatives with business objectives.
