Your role and work environment:

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Data Governance Expert to join our Data Enablement Team of Data Management Tribe

The responsibility of this team is together with other experts, to build, define, and deploying our new Data platform governance capabilities, in order to provide clear view on policies compliance and supporting all areas of the bank USING the 5 Right's principles (The right data is in the right place at the right time for the right people on the right way). 

Your key responsibilities:

As a Data Governance Expert you will:

Support new initiatives on activities and outputs expected to meet ING framework related to data.

Ensure the correct metadata is available to meet the ING policies and controls, including the classification, exchange and definitions inputs.

Ensure data traceability complies to the minimum requirements defined, depending on the criticality of the paths and consumptions. 

Contribute as a key member of the squad, you will provide a broad knowledge on reference data and how to govern and enable standard values on a cross user perspective and ad hoc basis. 

In collaboration with different squads and technical team, define new requirements over Data Management Framework (WoW, Glossary, Metadata, Data Quality, Governance…) and improvements to be made in the processes to achieve process excellence.

Data Governance tooling (Collibra, or others such as Informatica, IGC, Atlan, etc.) 

Data catalog or dictionaries experience including business terms, reference data values, and functional metadata associated to technical assets such as Oracle tables and columns.

5 years of experience on data governance and metadata management.

Advanced level of English.

Advanced level of Excel & Powerpoint. Microsoft Excel knowledge including files preparation and review ensuring quality of the product.

Paying attention to details and being able to detect possible errors.

Desired:

• Banking sector experience
• Reporting tools experience (ie. Cognos, PowerBI, Microstrategy) 
• Certifications related to data governance and metadata 
• Written skills of Spanish
• SQL Knowledge
• Data Stage (IBM ETLs tooling)

En ING estamos buscando una persona experta en Gobernanza de Datos

Tu rol y entorno de trabajo:

Buscamos una persona con talento y entusiasmo para unirse al equipo de Data Enablement dentro del Tribu de Data Management como Especialista en Gobernanza de Datos.

La responsabilidad de este equipo, junto con otras personas expertas, es construir, definir y desplegar nuevas capacidades de gobernanza de nuestra plataforma de datos. El objetivo es ofrecer una visión clara del cumplimiento de políticas y apoyar a todas las áreas del banco aplicando los principios de los 5 Right’s (los datos correctos, en el lugar correcto, en el momento correcto, para las personas correctas y de la manera correcta).

Responsabilidades clave:

Como Especialista en Gobernanza de Datos, tus principales funciones serán:

• Apoyar nuevas iniciativas asegurando que las actividades y entregables cumplan con el marco de trabajo de ING relacionado con los datos.
• Garantizar que los metadatos necesarios estén disponibles para cumplir con las políticas y controles de ING, incluyendo clasificación, intercambio y definiciones.
• Asegurar la trazabilidad de los datos conforme a los requisitos mínimos definidos, según la criticidad de los flujos y consumos.
• Contribuir como miembro clave del squad, aportando un conocimiento amplio sobre datos de referencia y cómo gobernar y habilitar valores estándar desde una perspectiva transversal y bajo demanda.
• En colaboración con otros squads y equipos técnicos, definir nuevos requerimientos sobre el Data Management Framework (WoW, Glosario, Metadata, Data Quality, Governance…) e identificar mejoras en los procesos para alcanzar la excelencia operativa.

¿Qué buscamos?

• Experiencia con herramientas de Data Governance (Collibra, o similares como Informatica, IGC, Atlan, etc.).
• Experiencia con catálogos de datos o diccionarios, incluyendo términos de negocio, valores de datos de referencia y metadatos funcionales asociados a activos técnicos como tablas y columnas de Oracle.
• Al menos 5 años de experiencia en gobernanza de datos y gestión de metadatos.
• Nivel avanzado de inglés.
• Nivel avanzado en Excel y PowerPoint. Conocimiento de Microsoft Excel para preparar y revisar archivos asegurando la calidad del producto.
• Atención al detalle y capacidad para detectar posibles errores.

Deseable:

• Experiencia en el sector bancario.
• Conocimiento de herramientas de reporting (Cognos, PowerBI, Microstrategy).
• Certificaciones en gobernanza de datos y metadatos.
• Habilidades de redacción en español.
• Conocimientos de SQL.
• Experiencia con DataStage (herramienta ETL de IBM).
