We’re on a hunt for an experienced Senior Pricing Manager with a background in retail Mortgages. You’ll lead and developing ING Mortgages pricing strategy, driving Pricing recommendations within the portfolio, delivering to the ING Executive Committee and leading the development of optimised pricing across the Mortgages portfolio.
This role will focus on building and executing pricing strategies to drive growth across new and existing customer segments and products to deliver on revenue and return objectives including interest and fee income. This role will be accountable for development, execution and management of pricing strategy, driving near and long term revenue optimisation to support Mortgages Portfolio objectives.
Our ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of profitability levers, pricing strategy, and customer segmentation, along with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and present at executive levels. What you’ll do
- Develop and execute pricing strategies for mortgage products and customer segments to drive growth, revenue, and returns across interest and fee income.
- Reduce attrition and churn by enhancing customer retention and value while balancing cost to retain.
- Forecast and manage portfolio growth using data-driven insights to maximise long-term profitability.
- Advance pricing sophistication through predictive modelling and a strategic roadmap for optimised, segment-based pricing.
- Optimising the controllable revenue of the Mortgages portfolio to meet revenue targets
- Growing the return on Risk Weighted Assets of the mortgages portfolio
What we’re looking for
- Numerical & Analytical Expertise: Degree-qualified in fields like Actuarial Studies, Statistics, or Finance, with actuarial credentials (FIAA) and 8+ years in portfolio management or consulting.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in Python, SAS, SQL, and Excel, with strong capabilities in data manipulation, financial modelling, and business case development.
- Strategic Thinking: Experienced in setting strategic direction, reviewing business cases, and conducting market and competitor analysis to drive performance.
- Retail Banking Knowledge: Deep understanding of retail banking products, profitability levers, and financial performance drivers.
- Communication & Influence: Exceptional communicator with experience presenting to executives and boards and influencing senior stakeholders.
- Leadership & Delivery: Self-starter with a problem-solving mindset, able to work independently or in teams, and consistently deliver outcomes in fast-paced environments.
