ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Analytics Engineer to join our growing data team in Poland. In this role, you’ll act as the link between data engineering and data analysis, building robust, well-documented data models that support reliable reporting and informed decision-making across the organisation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain scalable, well-structured data models using tools such as dbt and SQL within our cloud data platforms.
  • Develop and own the semantic/analytical layer, defining consistent metrics, dimensions and business logic to ensure a single source of truth across reports and dashboards.
  • Build and manage data pipelines to ensure timely and accurate data availability.
  • Work closely with analysts, data scientists and stakeholders to deliver clean, well-documented datasets tailored to business needs.
  • Promote best practices in data modelling, transformation, and governance.
  • Monitor pipeline performance and resolve data quality or processing issues.
  • Support the development and optimisation of the company’s data infrastructure and workflows.

Key skills and experience:

ESSENTIAL

  • Experience in analytics engineering, data engineering or a related role.
  • Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with modern data transformation tools (e.g. dbt).
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Experience with version control (e.g. Git) and agile development practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (in both Polish and English), with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

DESIRABLE

  • Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, Prefect).
  • Knowledge of Python and software engineering principles.
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Background in analytics, statistics, or a relevant STEM discipline.
