Power BI Developer

At Flix, we offer a dynamic work environment with competitive pay, strong growth opportunities, and a tech-driven approach to making travel more accessible, sustainable, and affordable.  As a highly skilled PowerBI Developer at Flix with a strong background in data visualization, analytics, and data preparation and a proven track record of delivering high-quality BI solutions, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards, as well as utilizing Alteryx for data blending and transformation. 

About the Role

• Develop and implement Power BI solutions to provide actionable insights for stakeholders
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design user-friendly dashboards
• Utilize Alteryx for data preparation, blending, and transformation to ensure accuracy and integrity
• Integrate diverse data sources (Snowflake, databases, APIs, flat files) to create comprehensive dashboards
• Optimize data models using DAX and Power Query to enhance performance and usability
• Ensure data governance, security, and compliance while managing full lifecycle of BI projects
• Provide training, support, and troubleshooting for Power BI and Alteryx workflows, staying updated on industry best practices

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science or equivalent work experience and/or education
• 3+ years of experience in Power BI development and data visualization (certification preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in Alteryx for data preparation and analytics (certification preferred)
• Strong proficiency in DAX, Power Query & data modeling in Power BI
• Experience with Snowflake and SQL related databases for data extraction and manipulation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
