Job Description
Freshworks is looking for a smart, driven business analyst for the marketing analytics team who will work on defining measurement frameworks, building processes and delivering insights to improve our marketing efficiency. As the custodian of every lead entering our systems, you should be comfortable using CRM tools and performing data analysis on SQL. If you are a self-starter looking for a high-growth opportunity then this is the right place for you!
Responsibilities
- Interpret data, analyze results using analytics, research methodologies, and statistical techniques.
- Generate data-based insights that help to launch impactful and effective marketing and user acquisition programs.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the customer journey and current trends to improve marketing initiatives.
- Dive deep into campaign performance data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare, analyze, and summarize periodic operational results for use by various key stakeholders, creating reports, specifications, dashboards, and flowcharts.
Qualifications
- Graduate degree or equivalent, preferably in Statistics/Operational Research/Mathematics
- Atleast 2 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence/Data Analytics/Modelling, preferably within an IT product/ e-commerce/ SaaS company
- Ability to manipulate large data sets with high dimensionality and complexity; proficiency in SQL, Excel/Google Sheets, BI reporting tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker) and one coding language (Python, R, Java etc.)
- Good verbal, written, and visual communication skills
- Good to have - Experience in predictive analysis, and expertise in R, SQL, Python
- Self-starter and independent
