Job Description SummaryBased at GE Power Conversion Chennai site the Parts Analyst role is an exciting opportunity for an action-oriented individual with Analytical capabilities having skills in ML & AI to improve processes across Power Conversion Parts business.
You will be able to leverage your Analytical, ML & AI skills as a main point of contact to directly support across all function of Power conversion parts business, drive customer fulfillment, while you collaborate across the globe with key functional teams and enhance your strategic business acumen.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the identification, architect & Implementation of automation project within the Power Conversion Parts Organization.
  • Connect with customers to understand their requirements by knowing their existing process(as is process) to desired process(to be process). Architect the solution by partnering with RPA & IT teams, also using appropriate tools to have an efficient & consistent process that saves time & improves quality for the business
  • Communicate with customer the project implementation plan and drive to have the projects delivered on Time
  • Perform POC (Proof of Concepts) on applicable projects
  • Provide support to internal and external customers in support of leadership initiatives.
  • Collaborate across the business including, Order Management, Sourcing, Procurement, Finance, Parts Engineering, Install Base, Robotic Process Automation & IT teams.

Qualification/ Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college / university
  • Good knowledge on Process improvement/modelling tools like Power Bi, Alteryx etc.,
  • Fundamentals on upcoming automation technologies like ML, LLM’s AI etc.,
  • Ability to quickly adopt to new analytical tools and bring value addition to business with upcoming technologies
  • Initiate and deliver continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Writing, Reading and Verbal English Fluency required.
  • Excellence in Customer Service.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required.
  • Initiate and deliver continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data analytics

Desired Characteristics

  • Prior knowledge on SAP or current ERP systems.
  • Prior knowledge on Power Bi, Alteryx data modelling tools.
  • Prior knowledge on Machine Learning language, AI technologies.
  • Ability to quickly understand the business operations & processes.
  • Ability to thrive in a cross-functional and matrixed organizational environment
  • Aptitude with analytical tools (ex. Excel, Access and PowerPoint); specific skills should include: data-mining, pivot tables and data Manipulation.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
