You will be responsible for developing and delivering advanced AI/ML models into production, leveraging the latest technologies in Natural Language Processing (NLP), deep learning, and transformer architectures. You should possess exceptional ML Ops experience and strong skills in developing, training, tuning, and optimizing machine learning models to effectively collaborate with business and technology leaders in building AI/ML systems that meet organizational needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver AI/ML models to production by following high-standard ML Ops processes, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.

  • Develop new or leverage/tune existing AI models, with a particular emphasis on transformer architectures and LLMs.
  • Evaluate and rank various ML algorithms and methods—including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) techniques.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Economics, Bioengineering, or another quantitative field preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Experience working on cloud platforms such as Azure (preferably), AWS, or GCP.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes (k8s), Docker and CI/CD practices.
  • Deep expertise in Python for ML, with proficiency in writing Pythonic code and relevant software design best practices. Familiarity with machine learning libraries for Python (FastAPI, FlaskAPI, scikit-learn, Pandas, SciPy, NumPy, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of modern machine learning techniques and algorithms, particularly those relevant to transformers and large language models, including fine-tuning techniques for NLP tasks.
  • Deep knowledge of mathematics, probability, statistics, and algorithms, with a focus on supervised and unsupervised learning methods.
  • Expertise in natural language processing applications, including but not limited to topic modeling, entity extraction, sentiment analysis, and the use of LLMs for conversational AI.
  • Familiarity with business processes, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Confident in decision-making, with the ability to articulate processes or choices as needed.
  • Strong motivation and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective teamwork and collaboration.
