Position:Sr. Data ScientistPosition Summary:Responsible for providing complex analytic solutions to the barriers of providing high-quality and efficient healthcare. Partners with healthcare and insurance professionals to create models and other data tools that provide key clinical insights, guide patient care, and inform operational strategy. Serves as a first point of contact when there is an analytic need.Job Description:Primary Responsibilities
- Partners cross-functionally to understand business needs and identify solutions.
- Collaborates with clinical teams to define new features.
- Supports new client tenant stand-ups through guiding localization efforts.
- Integrates data into our platform and makes it available to our analytic efforts.
- Works with clinical and market teams to define new features and complex solutions.
- Partners with Technology to implement advanced analytics.
- Creates and implements complex analytics using artificial intelligence and other techniques.
- Represents the department throughout the company and with client and prospects describing our work and our results.
- Trains and mentors junior team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with quantitative major (e.g. statistics, mathematics, economics, and actuarial science) or equivalent
- 5+ year of relevant data science or analytics experience or the knowledge, skills, and abilities to succeed in the role
- Strong skills in programming and analytics using Python and working knowledge and experience with the following tools: SageMaker, AWS, SciKitLearn, Pandas, TensorFlow, Keras, R, Excel, & SQL
- Demonstrated ability to develop models using algorithms such as random forest, XG Boost, General Linear Models, and Deep Learning
- Solid critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills including the ability to communicate complicated and technical ideas to any audience
- Strong collaboration skills with demonstrated success in working with a multi-disciplinary team and the ability to develop new and innovative solutions
- Working knowledge of the healthcare marketplace and of topics such as risk-adjustment, quality measures, healthcare finance, Medicare Advantage, Affordable Care Organizations, and Electronic Health Records
Preferred
- Master's degree
- Experience within healthcare
- Experience partnering with healthcare providers

The hiring range for this position is:
$113,800.00-$154,525.00
