Inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President – Enterprise Data Office 

 

Responsibilities 

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of data and analytics projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budgets.  

• Oversee end-to-end project lifecycles, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of data solutions.  

• Manage risks, dependencies, and roadblocks to ensure timely delivery of high-quality outcomes.  

• Experience in Azure services like Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, MS Fabric, and others. 

• Proficient in SQL and database technologies, big data technologies (pyspark etc.) with hands-on experience in data modeling and database design. 

• Implement data governance practices and ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations. 

• Oversee the design and development of Data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines to support BI and analytics requirements. 

• Partner with IT and other cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration and deployment of BI solutions across the organization. 

• Serve as a subject matter expert on BI-related topics, providing guidance and support to internal stakeholders as needed. 

• Experience and knowledge in Analytics tool such Power BI, Tableau etc. 

• Experience in implementation of projects in big data, datawarehousing, data lake, data migration projects etc. 

• Knowledge of advance analytics and AI tools such Python, AI Studios, Gen-AI etc. 

 

 

Qualifications/Skillset 

Minimum qualifications: 

• Candidates from all the branches of M.Tech/B.E/B/Tech/Graduation are eligible. 

• Candidate must be Indian Citizens 

• Deep expertise in Modern Data Management (Enterprise Information Management, Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Lakehouses, Cloud Data Platforms, Data Modelling, ETL Design, Databases etc). 

• Prior experience in databases - DB2, ETL tools - Datastage and Azure cloud environment with Azure SQLDB2 is must.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills 

• Knowledge and experience in Reporting tools – Power BI, Tableau etc. 

• Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to express complex technical concepts effectively. 

• Ability to work in a team-based environment, as well as the ability to work independently. 

• Ability to work effectively with people of many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.
